The Dovo Solingen 24-Karat Tortoiseshell straight edge razor is one of our premium razors. Hand made in Germany by one of the world's best razor manufacturers.

Imitation Tortoiseshell Handle

This razor has a stunning design with 24 Karat gold etching on the face of the blade matching with the imitation tortoiseshell scales (handle) style. It is also very well balanced and light with the 5/8" blade and plastic handle.

The blade is made from carbon steel - which has been hardened through Dovo's tempering process which means that the blade will keep its edge sharp for longer. 

This razor is hand-honed in the factory and is shave ready.

      I recently purchased the Dovo 'Tortoiseshell' Razor and I'm really impressed with it. The blade is sharp and the handle has a nice weight to it. It's easy to use and gives me a close shave every time. I'd definitely give it 4 out of 5 stars!

      I spent ages browsing through the different Dovo razors and eventually settled on the Tortoiseshell because it immediately stood out. It looks brill up close and the handle stands out a mile. Regardless, it still performs amazingly and I’ve not had as close a shave with any other razor yet!
